Welcome to RecipeRevolution, a new way to cook and follow recipes.
Growing up, every Sunday my father would cook our lunch. He had many cookbooks. I have many more.
My work in the family business took me on frequent overseas trips. I opened a sales office in New York in 1963. Here I was introduced to items I had not seen in Australia. I made a big decision, left the family business and returned to Australia to become an importer of cookware.
In 1971 I moved to Port Vila, New Hebrides, (now the Republic of Vanuatu), in the South Pacific, to open a Motel with an Italian restaurant, and some years later a Cafe on the beach.
In 1981 on a ski trip I discovered Telluride, Colorado. I returned that summer to build two blocks of Condo’s, Boomerang Lodge and Boomerang Village.
In 1994 while still living in Vanuatu, I purchased Delgany Country House Hotel in Portsea, Victoria, a well known Gourmet destination. This was sold in 1999.
Retired, I had time to enjoy my two passions, Digital Art and Cooking.
Struggling to understand a recipe, the way all recipes are written, I felt there must be a better way, so I started to make notes.
Over the next 24 hours RecipeRevolution was created, and an entirely new, better, format for recipe’s had arrived.
These are simple Recipes that anyone can cook, presented in a new way that is easy to understand. Traditional recipes, that have stood the test of time. Additional national and regional editions are in preparation, to be followed by Diet, Produce and Appliance editions.
Future editions from well-known Chefs are also planned.
